This very cold Sunday morning, minus 13 degrees Celsius, Ricky, Lennart and I took a long walk over the icy lake Trehörningen near Stockholm in Sweden. We were there to maybe find the rare Kingfisher bird. This bird feeds on fish so we hade to find where the the lake is not frozen ...
... and here at a small stream we met Lars who told us that the Kingfisher is nearby somewhere
Lennart spotted this beutifully coloured bird first!
The Kingfisher
... and away to a new feeding place ...
What a nice place to sit by and take photos with a heavy camera lens!
