The Swedish birders alert system Svalan reported that a Mandarin Duck was seen in the harbour of Nynäshamn, 50 km south of Stockholm. So, yesterday I went there with my binoculars and camera. It was easy to find. Close to the sea in the harbour a group of children, together with their teacher, stood looking at this extremely beautiful waterfowl.
