Today I used, for the first time, a sound recording device called Handy Recorder H2, manufactured by the the Japaneese company Zoom Corporation. It has four in-built microphones so surround sound recordings are possible. The recordings are stored on a memory card in WAW or MP3 formats. In the video below you can hear my stereo recording of the Trush Nightingale and Rose Finch songs in Sandemar nature reserve south of Stockholm.
